Dr. Toroitich combines experience and interest in food\nsystems that focus on sustainability and resilience in the face of climate change. She has experience\nworking with farmer groups with a strong emphasis on inclusivity in group composition. She has carried\nout various farmer capacity building programmes in\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Siaya\u00a0and\u00a0Nakuru Counties under the Kenya\nClimate Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP) and National Agriculture and Rural\u00a0Inclusive\u00a0Growth Project\n(NARIGP)\u00a0respectively. As a lead consultant. She has also carried out food security studies in Baringo and\nElgeyo Marakwet counties as part of the AWSC consortium. Additionally,\u00a0Faith\u00a0has participated in round\n\ntable discussions and writing of Oped articles advocating for safe use of pesticides in agriculture in order\nto protect beneficial organisms in the environment under the Route to Food Initiative. She has also been\na Trainer of Trainers for Nakuru Plant doctors under CABI\u2019s Plantwise programme. Dr Totroitich has\ngiven various presentations and talks and published in scientific journals.
